Last week tropical storm, Fay, caused various towns across NJ to flood.
What is a Tropical Storm? According to Google, it is a macro-scale cyclone. They are a localized, very intense low-pressure wind system, forming over tropical oceans and with winds of hurricane force.
What does this mean for you? These types of weather conditions are not safe. You should avoid driving in these conditions. Of course, the world still spins and we must travel to and from work but our advise is to stay cautious and avoid flood areas.
Are you prepared? Of course, if it was 90 degrees yesterday no one is going to think of tropical storm conditions the next day. We must face the fact that this is the reality we live in and we should always be prepared for a storm.
