What Are Continuing Education Classes?
These classes are credit and noncredit courses for professionals from various backgrounds. Whether insurance agents, insurance adjusters, real estate professionals, or franchise staff, the courses serve to enhance and improve our participant’s knowledge of emergency mitigation of various sanitation crises. After all, new technologies and bacteria mean that constant refreshing of knowledge on the latest mitigation practices would be helpful. Whether it’s water damage restoration, mold remediation, restorative drying courses, or a mitigation awareness response seminar, we believe that continuous learning and upgrading of skills will greatly help to increase the level of service that we provide to our customers.
The SERVPRO Training Program
When embarking on the SERVPRO training program, participants engage in a 15-day hands-on course at the SERVPRO corporate training facility. Oriented at new franchise owners, topics surrounding restoration are covered. In this course, participants learn about fire and water restoration, carpet, and upholstery cleaning, as well as mold mitigation practices.
The course is followed up by employee certification training oriented at the SERVPRO franchise employees. The certification is only awarded after successful completion of the course materials and an examination.
Throughout the learning process, staff will have access to web-based training. The voluntary program empowers our staff with a self-paced learning program where they can deepen their skills in sanitation management and enforce only the best industry standards and the professional quality of service that you know and love.
